I hope you all had a good break and welcome to 2017! Here’s hoping this year will a productive one for everyone.
Firstly I’d like to thank those of you who took the time to fill out our annual survey. The results were overwhelmingly positive, and our rating has improved from 70 last year to 77 this year. The industry average for IT is around 61 for reference. We’ll be aiming to surpass 80 this year!

Not outsourced overseas, all the work is monitored and controlled at a local level. Staff are very skilled and reliable. Excellent ability to comprehend requirements of a project and provide advice to refine the project, suggest and factor in critical functionality that may not have been considered by the customer. Quick and clear communication in response to questions and need for information by the customer.
New services for 2017
Cloud backup & disaster recovery We’re happy to now be able to offer cloud-based services for backup only and for backup and disaster recovery. These services are scalable from single PCs to full IT infrastructure and can be set up quickly and easily in most cases. Even if you already have cloud file storage or daily onsite backups these systems provide another layer of protection against hardware failure, human error, or theft of equipment.
Cloud-based email and file storage We’re also now offering bundled Office 365 and Dropbox packages (including data migration). If you’ve got an ageing server running on-premise and no bespoke applications this is a scalable, affordable and pain-free way to move to the cloud.
Affordable fibre internet services One of the issues faced when moving services to the cloud are accessing them in a timely fashion. While the NBN rollout has stagnated in the metro area, for the most part, it has at least promoted some competition with ISPs and as such there have been price reductions for business grade fibre services. If you’re interested in migrating services to the cloud, having a high-speed synchronous connection is essential.
