Replace your aging computers

November marks our first month sans Eden. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank him for his 10+ years of service, and he certainly deserves a long and uninterrupted break.

Michael has some big shoes to fill but that’s ok, I think it will be a perfect fit.

November also marks the start of another Movember campaign and Intuitive are right on board. Here’s a link to our donation page.

Like last year, our main aim is to focus on mental health, given the toll 18 months of lockdown has taken on us all.

Replacing aging computers

As you may know, if you’ve tried to order new PCs or laptops for your staff, the stock is very low at the moment and wait times for new hardware have extended. The reason is due to a global chip shortage caused by the pandemic and estimates are only 50% of all orders can be filled on a given day. This is expected to continue into 2022.

Custom build machines are taking the longest. We have someone waiting 3 months for their computer to be built and delivered.

Within our client base, we have identified 272 PCs/laptops that require replacement and that number is only going to increase.

We highly recommend that if you are considering upgrading your workstations within the next 6 months, we should place orders today.

Discuss upgrading your workstations

Do you need to upgrade?

Please check your monthly IT report for your workstation fleet status. If you have anything other than a GREEN status, we should discuss ordering new workstations.

Cybersecurity Booklet

In conjunction with Cybersecurity month, Intuitive IT launched a Cybersecurity Handbook for Business Owners.

Inside you’ll find best practice security tips and tricks for every business owner.

If you’d like a copy, we’d be happy to mail it out to you. Or, if you prefer, we can email you a PDF.

Welcome to Mitchell

I’m very happy to announce that Mitchell Alexander joined our family on November 1st. Mitchell joins the team on the helpdesk, and you’ll no doubt hear his voice on the other end of the line when you’re in need of support.

Mitchell brings expertise and great customer service experience to the team and is currently going through onboarding. He’ll be solving tickets in no time.

Christmas Hours

Due to the stress and strain of the last 18 months, we’ve decided to extend the holiday period for Intuitive IT. We will officially close the office between the 20th of December and reopen on January 10th.

By extending our holiday period, we hope to give all staff a chance to rest and recharge.

Rest assured, we will have a skeleton crew working through the holidays in case you run into any issues. Here are the support hours and days during that period

Zoom Phone

Intuitive IT has partnered with Zoom to resell and migrate customers to a secure, reliable cloud-based phone system.

With Zoom Phone you can have all the features of a standard business phone system but without having to have a server in your office.

Best of all, you can do away with handsets altogether. When your phone number is called you can answer it from your mobile, iPad or computer!

If you’re interested in learning more about Zoom Phone, take a look at our migration page.
