Best Business Laptop is MacBookPro – Linkedin experts

So the time arrived for me to purchase a new laptop.
I’ve been using a MacBook Pro (early 2008 model, the model released just before the first uni-body)
I have to return the laptop to one of my clients that was allowing me to use it. Thus the need for a new laptop.
I thought I’d do some crowd sourcing and ask the LinkedIn.com experts to see what they thought the best business laptop is.

The question I asked was:

I’m in the market for a new laptop and looking for some ideas.
Looking for a 15″ business laptop that can run multiple apps at once with grace.
Some apps will be memory and cpu intensive so it needs to cope. Good keyboard & battery a must.

I must say I was a bit surprised to see that the experts suggested that I should buy another MacBook Pro.
Granted the sample size is very small, but I thought it interesting enough to share with everyone in an anecdotal way.
Here are a breakdown of the recommendations (14 responses)

So which way have I gone?
Well I haven’t made a purchase as yet, but I’m actually looking at a DELL XPS 15.6”
No it wasn’t recommended by any experts, but I can get the same specs as MacBook Pro, minus the battery life for far cheaper. Yes I don’t get the Mac OS, but since Windows 7, I haven’t used OS X anyway.
An old colleague of mine had a XPS and he was pretty happy with it too.
I’ll let you know when I’ve finally made a decision.

Am I making the right choice?
Do you have a DELL?
Do you know anyone who has already switched back to PC?
