Another month of lockdown and I think I’m getting Stockholm syndrome - COVID-19 is just misunderstood, it only wants to be friends; really good friends. Who needs the outside world when you have a pair of ugg boots and a heater for company?
How technology can be an opportunity and not a threat during Coronavirus
This month I want to talk about what we’re doing at Intuitive IT to streamline our business systems. We’re using this uncertain time as an opportunity to find better ways of doing things, and to explore alternatives with the aim of increasing efficiency.
Hopefully, reading about what we are doing gives you some inspiration, and provides some insight into how we can help you get the most out of your IT systems, and aid in driving your business productivity even in these less than ideal circumstances.
We can now sit with you, virtually
Now that we’re not able to come out on-site, people still have these IT Support related issues, but won’t raise it and will simply put up with it. So to help with this, we’ve created “Virtual Site Visits” (VSV).
The last 10 days have been about getting your team setup from home. Now it's about making it work for everyone
For Intuitive IT, the biggest issue we face is the loss of 'bants'. Bants is short for banter, and I could comfortably say that what our in-house culture is built on.
So to combat this in our new found situation we've implemented some changes to make sure we don't lose too much of this comradery during our imposed lockdown.
Working from home is a given now - but it doesn't mean we need to compromise security
Now that everyone has dispersed and working away in their kitchens, bedrooms, studies and patios, the unfortunate reality is that hackers will soon follow. Your team have your company data with them, connecting to home networks and devices setup with little thought about security
