Junior Front End Developer - Part Time

We are a fast growing website firm looking for a Front End Dev who loves building and styling websites. This is a role that will see you working on multiple websites projects for a variety of our clients. You will gain invaluable experience across a range of languages and frameworks as well as getting a firsthand look into the world of web development.

You will need to be someone who enjoys pixel perfect styling, have excellent attention to detail, has the ability to think laterally and work fast, and gets satisfaction from seeing projects through to completion.

This is role will best suit a Computer Science or Design (or equivalent) student who has the capacity to take on at least 20 hours of work per week and is ready to take the first step in your Web Dev career. You will not be a Code Snob - our clients require us to be flexible in our ability to write in many different languages with HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery and .NET being the most common but certainly not the only languages to which you may need to turn your hand. Experience in DNN and WordPress is advantageous.

We provide a friendly working environment and act as the IT department and Web development house for our clients. You will be exposed to a variety of interesting and challenging tasks. We are a busy office who enjoys a laugh but know when it's time to focus on the task at hand. As we’re based on Brunswick Street in Fitzroy, you will also be spoilt for choice at lunch time!

This is a part time position but we expect there to be a minimum of 20 hours of work each week, ideally suited to someone currently studying. Commercial experience is not essential (although you will have at least worked on a major coding project in your studies) but initiative and enthusiasm are! How far you go depends on your willingness to learn.

How To Apply (IMPORTANT - not just the standard process! Take note - or your application will NOT be considered)
